Often, yes. Machines without network connectivity can still be instrumented through added sensors, PLC interfaces, or operator-scanned checkpoints at the workstation. Full machine-level telemetry is not always achievable on older equipment, but useful production visibility usually is. We assess your actual equipment mix during discovery rather than assuming a modern connected plant.
It has to be faster than what it replaces or it will not be used, and that constraint drives the design. Interfaces are built for gloved hands, industrial tablets or fixed terminals, and scan-based input rather than typing. If capturing data digitally takes longer than writing it on a traveller, operators will revert to paper and the project fails regardless of the backend.
